My daughter was going to JRP in Portland, where we got a photo shoot for about $700.00. Then Jennifer Miller Emailed us, saying they were moving.

I tried endless times to get our pictures, never got them. Emailed Jennifer over and over, asking her to send them. She kept acting like she would send them, never did. Contacted the corporate office too, no help.

She refused to give me the info about the photographer, so I could not contact him for them either. Then, she just disappeared. And, we are out the money, and no pictures.

So, she has our disc of pictures somewhere, that are no good to anyone but us, but refused to send them to us.

John Robert Powers Portland Oregon. Sorry JRP, not end of story.

You probably didn't get your pictures because she was operating the business for some time by "robbing Peter to pay Paul", but she was mismanaging for so long she didn't even have the money to pay Paul. Jennifer Miller continued to take money from people, til the very last day, even after she knew the ship had sunk. She then openly lied to people, including her employees, about the future of JRP. Going bankrupt doesn't mean posting a note on your door saying "Happy Holidays...we're moving!...We'll send you the new address...The office will still be open and taking calls".

Their phones had already been disconnected and she was no where to be found. Going bankrupt isn't easy for anyone, but Jennifer Miller showed no regard or class in ending this business which is a direct reflection of how she operated it. Kharma my dear.

And you're probably correct, laughing in a Malibu mansion is not likely her future. It was not only parents hard earned money she mismanaged, it was children's dreams she took advantage of.

The JRP in Portland has closed. The economy has effected everyone and i guess JRP is not immune.

Businesses are closing all around us and people understand, however, if JRP closes people think it must be a scam and a rip-off. Give me break...they went bankrupt. I guarantee Jennifer Miller is not sitting in a mansion in Malibu laughing.

The business did not sustain itself and it went under. End of story.

You should contact the board of education - JRP runs under the rules as trade schools. They have a fund set up in case of fraud and ways to help you with your case.
