JRP ripped us off, costing us over $12,000. We filled a compliant with the district attorneys office in Santa Clara, ca. If you would like to be a part of taking JRP down please feel free to contact me. I strongly advise you to do the same. get a lawyer and get your money back. JRP is ruthless and heartless. they dont care about our childrens future. all they care about is money. it is heard that jrp is going to file for bankruptcy. If this happens thier will be no way for anyone to get thier money back. so i strongly advise anyone to get on the ball before it is too late.

i agree , JRP is a rip off . even if you do get to go to las vegasor La for a ipop audition it will cost you a harm and a leg just to take your child there , and there is thousands of kids there , thats the only way you will get chosen for anything from JRP , and JRP never mention the huge cost if and when you ever do get the call , you have better chance get struct by lighting then get a call . all info was not given out at the time of sighing contract to register your child . and the hidden cost , to advance him to the big show in la or vegas , its huge huge money , if you are lower / middle class persoon like my self this is no good for anyone , if you are higher class and money is no object then all means go ahead with jrp . this scam is target for lower and middle class people , and it should be stop at once , many people are getting scked in . iam sure something can be done about this , that requires JRP to do credit checks and see that you qualify to enroll child .

even though i haven't even auditioned, there was a person named brandy that was a real ***. She was really mean and didn't even answer all of my questions. I have done a lot of research and 8/10 people have said they have gotten scammed and out of the two people that ever got a call back never made it to the "big" screen. JRP ***, John Roberts was a great actor but he died and so now everything is a scam.

I am in the same boat with many others. JRP in Santa Clara, CA scammed my parents for about $9,000 in 10/07. We signed a contract and were supposed to have a years worth of acting/modeling classes. The first class started in 11/07 and then ended in 12/07. In 12/07 my parents were informed that other classes were cancelled and that JRP Santa Clara,CA. office would contact us with details. Lousy jerks never wrote or answered our calls ever again. This was a pure rip off. All you people who said that we deserved to be ripped off, didn't read the contract, it is just the cost of tuition, or don't understand how we were all scammed, need to pull your heads out of your...! JRP Santa Clara signed a contract saying that we would receive a set number of acting/modeling classes over the period of one year. We (and others like us) did not receive our full set of classes. There was no indication that JRP Santa Clara was going to run my parents credit card and then shut down two months later. Once again for the SLOW PEOPLE, we (and others like us)signed a contract for classes with JRP Santa Clara and they breached the contract. My parents worked hard for the money that these A..HOLES STOLE and feel very bad that they were taken. Any of you who side with JRP Santa Clara should feel worse. Please count us in, on any lawsuit!

We are part of the Marin JRP and have not gotten what our contract says. In answer to the first reply, we did not expect jobs and money just for joining. We knew the cost and accepted it. But JRP made promises they did not keep. Classes are canceled, there's no auditions and everyone is lying about who's in charge.

Count me in on any lawsuit.

ok ppl wake up and step away from the looking glass. in show business and all entertainment you dont just get scammed. the losers who get scammed are the ones who dont care about costs and dont know when to say no! remember you have the right to do that. and on another note JRP is not for everyone, its only for ppl who rally want it and really want to make it big. thats the way it really is!

all you ppl who feel as if you got scammed dont blame JRP b/c its not their fault its yours and your child's. and thats the truth. you probably thought that right away after you signed up you would be getting money and pay and jobs. guess what you wont! you have to work and push and if you not willing to do that you are no going to be able to make it. ppl who were scammed sorry but you obviously didnt know what you were doing and you obviously thought that JRP was the reason that you werent getting what you wanted. sorry but that wrong you needed to push yourself and your child to always be working at getting better and you need to learn to negotiate contracts.

By the way JRP cincinnati is amazing and i have loved every minute i spend there.

hope this helps

with love,

JRP LOVR

P.S. you scammers can suck it biztches :zzz

:sigh It is sad that you people think it is for free. School cost money. If a school closed its doors call another JRP they will honor your contract to the best of their ability. If a business, that is individually owned and operated, goes under you go after the old owner not all the other schools. If you go to a burger King and get bad service or the wrong order doesn't mean that all burger kings are that way. Wake up people. :upset

All of you people are crazy...... A school that is private will charge tuition. It is up to you to decide how long and how much........

Did you read everything before you signed it? If you don't like something in the contract you are signing, ask them to change it or don't sign! If you follow this simple practice, you will always win in court and will avoid losing another $12,000. And how did you lose $12,000? Nothing that ever happened tipped you off? Even though, I'm sorry to hear that you lost so much.

By the way, when you say JRP, you should specify which location, because they are all operated by different companies.
